I like the book. Nothing negative about it.This book too did not satisfy the recipe hunt for those really unique oatmeal recipes I was looking for. I will continue to hunt for the book that I want.The cookbook arrived quickly and in excellent shape. The recipes are really good little recipes to have on hand. RecommendI use them all the time. I love to cook and they come in handy. The illustrations and instructions are so easy to follow.I don't think these are really old time recipes which is what I was expecting.Great recipes! Can't wait to get started trying some of them out.Was a bit disappointed in the quantity, too few recipes for the price.A beautiful work of art which has recipes for breads and muffins ,breakfast ,main dishes ,desserts ,cookies and fun for kids .Many of the recipes require butter ,but there are a few requiring vegetable oil .There are modern ideas which I do not approve of eg baking powder and bicarbonate of soda in the one recipe .One requires a cake mix so recipes are new-fangled , really ,not old fashioned at all .Ketchup should never be cooked .It is for room temperature .Wipe clean pages.Good old fashioned recipe book. Very pleased.excellent book for the oatmeal lover
