Mr. Huffman writes a lively story of his growing up in the small town of Avenal, CA. Part way through this book I started to think I was reading a story written by William Soroyan. Well written, and a fun read for anyone who likes to see what life growing up in the west was really like for kids.I would recommend this book to my kids and any adult who likes to reminisce what many of us experienced growing up in the west.
