I tested this nut milk maker machine by loosely chopping an apple and filling the water line to 500 ml. Using the "Juice" setting, in about 3 minutes I had a couple small glasses of unfiltered (by choice) apple juice. The pulp was very fine and I didn't mind drinking it and the juice. Then I repeated this test with a high-powered K-Tec blender, and could see the difference - while the blender made a water-apple juice of sorts, there were also loads of small bits of apple peel. (See photo for comparison.) The next try with the nut milk maker was chopped red cabbage, a peeled carrot, green onion, raw spinach, peeled ginger root, a slice of lemon with rind but seeds removed, and filtered water up to about the 1000 ml line. I used the "Juice" setting again and in 3 minutes the machine produced a near-farmer's market-worthy fresh veggie juice that was so refreshing. I opted not to filter this drink as well. Due to the red cabbage, the color doesn't look great, but it tastes so healthy! There was enough to jar and refrigerate for the morning so now it's an EZ breakfast (another pic). Note - Fruits and veggies mentioned in the included recipe book are carrot, spinach, peeled orange, cucumber, peeled and pitted pumpkin, avocado, mango, banana, etc. I used some that aren't on that list.Update: Also made oat milk with 2 ingredients (oats and filtered water). It was so fast and simple to make, didn't need filtering, and is delicious even with no sweetener and especially with no emulsifiers, etc. filtering. It's very good and smooth in iced coffee. On the "Oat" setting, the machine seemed to stutter for a minute or two at first - maybe it was letting the rolled oats soften in the water - and then it came on at a normal sounding mix speed.The machine works well enough, but I'm surprised that the electric motor base and the glass jar are one piece.The borosilicate glass seems sturdy and slick so it's not that hard to rinse out and clean the jar after making veggie juice. But oat milk left a residue under the blades even after using the included long handled bristle brush on them. I filled the jar about 3/5 up with clean water and added a couple of drops of mild detergent and pressed the Clean button. That worked well though I don't know if that's how to use it. It would be good if the instruction booklet addressed this and some other points. There's a precaution against using the machine more than twice for durations, such as making nut milk, and it can get warm during use, so you probably won't be cleaning it right away after use. Still, it's a wonder for its ability to make great fresh veggie drinks and the oat milk was great! I'd give this machine a 4.5 as I suspect it would be easier on the electronics for the jar to be removable, and also dishwasher safe.
