My dog has a lot of dandruff and I was looking for a more sensitive shampoo for him - to clean him off before I use the expensive anti dandruff shampoo and I was honestly taken aback by the naturel fragrance of this shampoo. I know this shampoo is meant for cats but I thought I'd give it a whirl on my mutt and I was not disappointed whatsoever. The aloe and oats both work together to help moisturize the skin. I actually decided to use this for the dog in place of using his dandruff shampoo. Post bath he seems less irritated and less itchy overall and he smells amazing! I'm hoping that this product works long term for him.I do have 3 cats and from time to time they do need baths but fortunately none of them have required a bath since I received this shampoo (knock on wood). But I do like the peace of mind of having it on hand for when it is required. I am very particular on what products I use on my cats because they self clean - meaning whatever you put on them has a high likelihood of ending up inside them - I know this is a 'clean' product so I'm not worried about harmful chemicals being ingested if they lick themselves after a shower with this.Based on my limited experience so far with this I recommend 10 out of 10.
