Very healthyThis is great porridge.Liked the small oats!!We eat scottish oats exclusively. For years we at Scott's, but they have to ship from the UK and take a long time and generally arrive damaged. These oats are just as good, come in a three pack, and ship on a domestic schedule. Excellent.Delicious. Nutritious. And they don’t turn into a gluey, gloppy mess. Once you try them, you’ll never go back to your “old” oatmeal. ‘Nuff said.As aboveThere is where I met the best porridge ever. Since all those years ago since I tried it in Scotland, I have looked for it in the USA. Finally found it and of course fav, good old Amazon finally has it. It is different and deeper and stronger and fuller and richer than others. So if looking for wimpy or sweet porridge, well, that just isn't how the Scottish roll! This {make sure it is the Green bag} is real and strong and filling and rich. I add organic fresh or frozen cranberries, perhaps a cut up apple or two, maybe macadema nuts, chia seeds all sauteed in real organic butter first. then i add whole milk, some water and put it on low for a long time, stirring often. I make a big batch and keep in a glass container in the fridge and I have a weeks worth of warm it up quick {not with microwave of course} a touch of treacle, or honey maybe some raisins and I am good for a long time with a happy belly.Breakfast or lunch with brown sugar, cranberries, walnuts, and a touch of milk...YUM!
